Loved it all!

Loved it all! Hands down, the best hostel I have ever stayed in. I was very late checking in, the owner made sure I could contact her and stayed late to help me settle in. Beautiful hostel - felt more like a hotel. Free water and coffee, as well as straighteners, hair dryers and toiletries in bathroom. The beds even had electric blankets and a pull down divider for when you wanted some privacy! I can't rave enough, stay there if you go to Busan - such a bargain too, could've charged double! In the morning, the owner helped me get to Yonggungsa temple - printed off bus directions and instructions which allowed me to travel cheaply and easily to the temple :) thank you so much Blue boat! I only wish I had stayed longer :)

very quiet and relaxing

Staff, comfort, cleanliness, location were on point. The staff was very friendly, helpful, clear and spoke impeccable English. The check-in process was also very smooth and quick. Though the building is old and the stairs up to the hostel are dirty, used, shabby and generally don't make a good first impression, the rooms, kitchen, shower area, hall etc are all new and clean. Mattresses where new too, so sleep quality was awesome. Be sure to try the free foot and calf massage when having your morning coffee/ tea in the kitchen/common area! It is a short walk away from the Haeunde Station and the walking instructions sent from the property are accurate and easy to follow. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes nearby as well as the beach! It was very quiet when I was there.... there was no one else staying on the 3rd floor. It was super quiet, didn't have to wait for the shower or hair dryer in the morning, but it was also a bit creepy to be the only one in such a big and empty space.

The front door was horrible. Before check-in you need to ring a buzzer to get in, but the buzzer didn't seem to work. I had to actually call the front desk so they could buzz me in... a problem if you don't have a phone... you would just need to wait outside. Then, even with the key which you need to tap on the indicated spot, for the door to open, but it only worked once you removed the key card from the case it came with (there are many other cards in that case, so be sure not to drop and lose them.

Amazing and fun.

The staff were great and the facilities were great. The bathroom and showers especially was the same as a 5 star hotel.

The rooms were a bit small but for a hostel it was definitely spacious enough. No other complaints.

What was the highlight of Blueboat Hostel Haeundae

It is placed center of Haeundae and it was 2nd time to visit and stay. Because the hostel is separated women’s place and men/family, I felt comfortable to stay and take relax. Room was clean and all common facility interior was clean as well. Like my house,everything was prepared to stay by the hostel. A staff of the hostel was very kind and gave me useful information of Busan, I could enjoy my travel indeed. Surely I’ll visit again when I go Busan, Haeundae.

When I turn on the air conditioner what was in the room, it was little bit smell when I commanded 22-25c’’. But lower than 20c’ temperature was Ok to use without smell.

Good staff and location

The owner Haran is very kind and helpful. I am very happy to stay here and its clean, comfortable bed, and the female floor is very good and safe. There have free coffee and tea can drink . If you dont know where you want to go, Haran will advise you. She is very good English and no problem for the communication ^^ I will come back and stay next travel in Haeundae

Everything is just perfect.

The receptionist(also the owner of the hostel) is extremely friendly and caring. She is also a wonderful person to chat with, you can know more about Korean culture from her. The service and the English proficiency of the receptionist are flawless. The location is good and there are lots of good local restaurants (you can notice they mainly serve local people) nearby.

Just a minor problem, the bed is a bit shaky(not to a dangerous level.). Anyway, other good things you experience there would definitely overshadow such a minor limitation.

I stayed on the Female Only floor and it was perfect - there was a large bathroom with everything you could want, including a hair straightener and cotton buds, as well as the usual toiletries. What I really liked was that there was also a small sitting area on this floor, which was a lovely place to sit and relax before bed, as there isn't a lot of common space on the main floor. The beds were comfortable and you can pull down the blind if you want some privacy and have your own little space. The location is great - a couple of minutes from the subway and to the beach, as well as lots of restaurants. Many thanks to Hana on Reception, who was really friendly and welcoming and gave me some great tips on things to do in Busan.

THe hostel was lovely - my only very small complaint was that the recessed lighting in the beds was cute, but it would have been good to have a reading light positioned over the bed so you could read lying down.

All in all, great experience!

The facilities are the best, the room is clean, the shower room/powder room is spacious, its quiet, friendly staff, bidet toilet, very convenient for solo traveller like me, comfortable beds with heat pad, the security is topnotch (outsiders cannot just walk into the hostel). All in all, great experience!

The location is a bit hidden but the charm is that it is far from the noise from outside.

Good stay!

I have many experiences staying in a hostel in different countries. This hostel seems to be one of the most upscale ones I have ever stayed. If you want to pay hostel price and feel like staying in a hotel, this hostel is the one you are looking for. The owner(lady) seems to be very nice, as well.

I didn't like the fact that each shower booth for men is not spacious. I hope each booth has a shelf, so that I can place my clothes while I take a shower.(There is a hanger, but your clothes easily get wet if I use it) No breakfast is served, but they provide you coffee and tea.

I do recommend this place ecpacially for girls. They do have a floor for girls only. Gd facility and a foot massage machine. U feel like home. They have elcetronic bed to make it hot in the winter.the bathroom and shower are seperate from the room but was fine for me. The place is clean and comfy. Very near to the bus and subway station. In mid of the city and alot of resturants.

The entrance down the building doesn't give a gd expression. But the hostel inside exactly as the pictures.
